🎀 What actually helps in the first weeks after breast surgery?

Every Champion Paddle, we build a recovery basket for a newly diagnosed sister navigating post-surgical life and women often ask, “What should I bring?”

The early days after mastectomy or reconstruction can feel disorienting and small things become significant.

So we created this guide for thoughtful gifts for a breastie at any budget.

Because what you bring isn’t about cost.
It’s about easing one moment in a season that asks too much from any woman.

If you’re joining us at our next Champion Paddle, consider adding one small comfort item to our recovery basket. And if you’re supporting someone in your own life, save this post for when you need it.

Every Warrior Woman is a Champion.
Sometimes the strongest thing we do is to show up.

💪 Every warrior woman is a champion.

At Mother’s Beach, survivors, friends, and supporters will gather for the Champion Paddle in Marina del Rey.

We’ll paddle together, connect with the TBG community, and stay for a relaxed post-paddle potluck.

A morning of movement, conversation, and celebrating the strength of breast cancer survivors.

🦗 No one prepares you for the quiet after the last appointment.

For many women, that is when the work of learning to live in a new body begins.

Dr. Tiffany Grunwald began noticing long ago how many women were navigating their "afters" without the help of lived guidance so she created The Breast Goddess as a response.

If you are in the “after” there is a place for you. Own your courage and join us via the link in the comments

💞 May we have a moment of your time?

As we build 2026 and beyond, we want to hear form you.

If you’ve walked, paddled, ridden, or simply stood beside us, this is your invitation to help shape what comes next.

💪 Some things do not need explanation with another survivor because they already understand.

After breast cancer, there are changes that rarely make it into conversation.

🤍 How sensation returns
🤍 How clothing feels different
🤍 How confidence comes back gradually

These are moments that do not need translating inside the TBG Circle of Friendship.

This community exists because healing continues beyond reconstruction.
It unfolds through shared experience, honest conversation, and time spent with women who have already walked this path.

Created by Dr. Tiffany Grunwald, the Circle offers breast cancer survivors a place to connect, reflect, and move forward together.

🌸 Being understood changes everything.
When women who have lived through breast cancer come together, something shifts.

✨ Stories are shared without editing
✨ Experiences are met with recognition instead of explanation
✨ Strength is reflected back in ways that feel grounding and true

Our warrior women share what the TBG Circle of Friendship has meant to them.

The Circle was created by Dr. Tiffany Grunwald for breast cancer survivors who want community rooted in lived experience, not assumptions.

If you are searching for a connection after treatment, you belong here.

💗 Your courage didn’t end with treatment.

Breast cancer asks more of a woman than most people ever see.
The courage to heal does not stop when treatment ends or reconstruction is complete.

The TBG Circle of Friendship exists for this chapter.
The part of healing that continues long after appointments slow down and the outside world assumes you are finished.

Women share lived experience, compare notes & reconnect with strength that already belongs to them.

Created by Dr. Tiffany Grunwald, this space is for breast cancer survivors who want community that understands life after treatment.

🌸 After breast cancer treatment and reconstruction, your body is different in ways people cant see but in ways you feel every day.

How sensation returns.
How clothes fit.
How movement feels unfamiliar and how confidence comes back in pieces.

These are things you don’t need to explain to another survivor.
They’re already understood.

The TBG Circle of Friendship exists because healing doesn’t stop at reconstruction.
It continues in stages — physically, emotionally, socially — often for years.

Here, women connect with others who have lived this chapter.
We share perspective.
We compare notes.
We learn to trust, love and rebuild life in our bodies as they are now.

Created by Dr. Tiffany Grunwald, this space is for breast cancer survivors who want community that feels real, informed, and deeply human.

You’re not alone and you don’t have to navigate the “after” by yourself.

💝 Reconstruction is just one part of the journey.

Breast reconstruction can help restore the body but healing continues long after surgery.

That’s why the Circle of Friendship exists. We help support women as they navigate life after breast cancer treatment, surrounded by others who understand the physical, emotional, and personal shifts that follow.

If you’re a breast cancer survivor looking for connection beyond the clinical setting, we’d love to welcome you into our Circle.
