Here are a few TCM-inspired summer wellness tips to help you feel your best:
🌿 Eat light & seasonal
Enjoy foods that are cooling, hydrating, and easy to digest. Things like cucumbers, watermelon and other fresh fruits, mint, leafy greens, and mung beans.
💧 Stay hydrated, but skip the ice
Room temperature water with lemon or herbal teas is gentler on digestion than ice-cold drinks.
🌸 Rest your heart + spirit
Summer is a time of outward energy but don’t forget to slow down. Evening walks, gentle breathwork, and acupuncture can keep your nervous system calm.
💤 Prioritize rest
With longer days, it’s tempting to burn the candle at both ends. Try going to bed before 11pm to support heart + liver function.
