The old has passed away and the new has come.

There is a quiet to this day…
a stillness that settles in the soul,
where the noise fades
and all that’s left is what’s real.

The laying down.
The letting go.
The ache of what once was.

And yet—God is here.
Not rushing the process,
not skipping ahead to resurrection,
but present in the in-between.

In the sacred unraveling,
in the deep exhale,
in the space where something new is quietly forming.

So today, we stay.
We breathe.
We trust that even here,
God is at work—
making beauty from what feels like an ending.
A hope we can cling to that when it all looks like death in our story, God is doing something beautiful.

We’ve had a few women ask about this, so we wanted to share a little more context 🤍

At KALEO, our heart is to create a space that is fully centered on Jesus—where you can slow down, rest, and experience His presence in a deep and personal way.

Because of that, we try to be really intentional about what we include in the retreat experience.

While yoga is often practiced today as a form of movement or relaxation, it does have spiritual roots that come from a different foundation and worship of other gods. And for us, it felt important to create a space that stays fully aligned with our faith.

This isn’t about judgment at all—it’s simply a conviction for how we steward this space.

Instead, we incorporate things like gentle movement, breath, prayer, and stillness—all centered on being with Jesus.
