This October, several team members volunteered at the Shone Farm Fall Festival, and what an amazing time they had! The festival was packed with thrilling activities, including an animal meet-and-greet, hay rides, a professional fall photography station, and much more. Attendees enjoyed the season’s bounty by picking their own pumpkins from Shone Farm’s sprawling multi-acre patch. It was a fantastic kickoff to the month! We can’t wait to see everyone there next year!

We recently held our nursing application workshop, where students gained valuable insights into the application process and the requirements for nursing school.

This interactive session allowed them to ask questions and receive answers, helping them feel more prepared for their future applications.

Next semester, we’ll be offering Part 2 of this workshop, which will provide hands-on assistance with completing the nursing application. Stay tuned for more details coming soon! :)

UC Davis Campus Tour!

Today, we had the wonderful opportunity to explore the UC Davis campus! Many of our students, primarily interested in pre-health, pre-med, and engineering, were able to visit some of the impressive biology laboratories and engineering facilities. We also got to dive into the history of the school and what student life is like on campus compared to a community college. Campus tours are an invaluable way to gain insights into the college experience and help inform your future decisions.

We encourage everyone to join us on any future tours to discover more about potential schools.

A big thank you to UC Davis for hosting us! 🫶
