This past Wednesday, we celebrated National Hot Dog Day in a fun and meaningful way.

To show our appreciation for the incredible work our team does every day, the management team fired up the grill and served freshly barbecued hot dogs for staff members.

In the spirit of celebration, we invited everyone to dress up as superheroes-- because that is exactly what they are. Our team members are the everyday heroes of our community, always putting the needs of our residents first with dedication, compassion, and heart.

Norm gave a wonderful presentation on the process of his wood work creations, he uses the dead remnants of trees, chunks of once-living wood and transforms them with his hands and tools. Each piece is carved into distinct shapes, slowly emerging from the raw, weathered material. With patience and precision, he roughs them out into blanks—forms not yet finished, but full of potential. In every cut and curve, the wood begins to whisper its second life. He had some unfinished work and decided residents can keep them.
We were so pleased to have him.

Huge thanks to our amazing team—this 4th of July BBQ was a big success!
From the perfectly grilled hamburgers and hot dogs to the sweet corn on the cob, refreshing drinks, and a table full of delicious sides—everything came together perfectly. Couldn't have done it without everyone's effort and good vibes. Great food, great company, and a great time!
