One week from today Face to Face is hosting a mobile testing event on the Joe Rodota Trail!

Friday, August 1st from 10am to 1pm our mobile van will be on the Joe Rodota Trail offering HIV, Hep C, and Syphilis testing. Testing is free, confidential, anonymous, available in both Spanish and English—and it only takes 20 minutes!

Sonoma County's premier art auction, Art for Life, is the longest running art auction to benefit HIV. This year's 39th annual event returns to the Sebastopol Center for the Arts, taking place from August 21st to 24th, with an online auction available on the Face to Face website from August 21st to 26th.

Art for Life sponsors support the work of Face to Face, helping to connect our Sonoma County community to the practical care & support that honor dignity for all. Every day we open our doors (and our van!) to Sonoma County residents, especially those at risk of harm from substance use and infectious diseases. This Sunday, July 27th, Q***r Soup Night benefits Face to Face 🍲

Come enjoy delicious soups made by Chefs Kyle Kuklewski, Emma Lipp, and Stephanie Reagor in an event that encourages us to come together to celebrate q***r culinary talent, nourish our bodies and connect with our communities, all while creating a collective impact for local grassroots movements and partners.

Q***r Soup Night Sonoma County has generously organized a soup night in support of our work here at Face to Face! Helping us to connect our Sonoma County community to the practical care and support that honors dignity for all.

The event will be held from 5 - 8pm at Valley Swim Club in Sonoma. All are welcome, there is a sliding scale for donations at the door—no one will be turned away. Bring your own bowl and spoon, and join us for a night of community care and delicious food!

Maggie has been an artist all her life. Building a dedicated studio after her son Dennis went to college allowed her to to turn a hobby into a full-time career. Ceramics have always played a major role in her creative life. She hand-builds vessels, wall plaques and figurative sculpture.

Maggie’s other major outlets are collage, mixed-media, watercolor, jewelry, and monoprinting. She makes great use of “clay monoprinting,” a technique of printing on fabric with pigmented clay slip. Hand-made greeting cards and miniatures are some of her most popular items. The influence of Asia is very strong in her work, especially in her clay wall hangings, kimonos and clay monoprint fabric “scroll paintings.”

🔴 Dangerous sites:
Neck: higher risk of hitting a large artery, do not inject deep
Face: high risk of health complications
Wrist: higher risk of health complications and pain from the density of nerves, veins, and arteries
