Usually, our coastal outings are met with calm skies and a little early morning fog which eventually burns off to provide just the right amount of calm warmth for our yoga practice. Thank you and Kim for braving today’s 20+ mph winds, lol. We’ll try this again soon!

Lupinus arboreus, or wild lupine, is on magnificent display right now along the Sonoma Coast. Our group was so enchanted by all the beauty and lively conversations that this was the only photo and I remembered to capture. Did you snap any? If so, please share and pkease tag us here 🧘‍♂️
Excited to see what will be blooming when we go back for our next YogaHike at the beach on 6/18. This is an easy 2-mile loop hike followed by a grounding vinyasa slow-flow yoga class. (Total time, about 2 hrs.)

YogaHike Sonoma

Blending vinyasa flow yoga and hiking for a new way to deepen your practice and connect with nature in beautiful Sonoma County.

YogaHike Sonoma was founded in February 2015 by Carla Hebert, RYT, a Yoga Alliance 200-hour certified yoga teacher. Carla received her primary training at the Shoshoni Yoga Ashram & Shambhava School of Yoga located in a quiet mountain town high in the Rocky Mountains above Boulder, Colorado. Teaching since 2001, Carla's yoga style blends vinyasa flow (a moving meditation linking body and breath) with an alignment-based practice to build strength, balance and mindfulness both on and off the mat. She approaches her teaching with creativity and joy, drawing inspiration and continuous learning from the Anusara, Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga traditions. She is currently pursuing her 500-hour yoga teacher certification through YogaTree San Francisco and with teachers from around the world.
