For anyone with a New Year’s resolution that is fitness oriented, running of walking specifically , there is a lot going on in the area! Check out Fleet Feet’s page for links, timelines, and ideas. There is a fun run 5k on the Vallejo waterfront in February as well as weekly “pub runs” in Santa Rosa. If nothing else inspires you, take advantage of our regional parks for some zen and health.

There are many health issues that children and families should have stronger education available for, but being able to breathe.... nothing comes as naturally as breathing. So when it IS difficult; it can be terrifying.

According to foodallergy.org there is a huge difference between an allergy and an intolerance. A food allergy will elicit an allergic response (hives, swelling, wheezing, and difficulty breathing) whereas an intolerance creates G. I. upset (bloating, vomiting, diarrhea).
