At the recent APSATS Conference, Willow Tree Counseling co-founder Jeanne Vattuone, LCSW, CSAT-S, CCPS-S joined Monifa Ellis‑Addie to share an insightful conversation about understanding both sides of the healing process after betrayal.

Jeanne’s “unpopular opinion” (that we think should become popular!) is that both betrayer and betrayed can benefit from learning about each other’s journeys. When each person understands what’s happening “on the other side of the fence,” they can better translate intentions, reduce misread signals, and build a foundation for genuine relational repair. 💚
