I would like to provide a brief history of myself and my experience, so as a prospective client you have an idea of who I am and how I work. My journey into the area of holistic health and body awareness began in 1998. I was in search of a non-invasive and permanent path to being relaxed, healthy, and happy. I began reading books on natural ways to achieve happiness, health, and enlightenment. Over the years I found myself wanting to learn more about the physical and psychological body and how it operates. I experimented with, and became educated about, physiology and therapeutic techniques through reading, practice and personal friendships. After achieving balance and serenity in my life, I decided I wanted an avenue for aiding others to achieve the same. Everyone deserves to feel relaxed, healthy, and present in the moment. Through the study of holistic health, therapeutic massage, and bodywork, I am able to offer my clients an educated,
sincere, and conscious body therapist. My diverse training in multiple techniques and my personal body awareness enables me to create individual and personalized treatments for my clients. I have worked in spas, hospitals, chiropractic offices, and medical clinics. I have treated athletes,
post-op patients, geriatrics, clients with chronic pain/medical conditions, prenatal women, children ages 2+, and people that just need to relax. I relocated to Sonoma County from southern California in January of 2010. I am excited to continue my journey here, and bring my experience and massage style to the centrally located city of Santa Rosa. I have a professional education in the fields of therapeutic massage and bodywork including: Anatomy; Pathology; Physiology; Kinesiology; Eastern and Western Bodywork Philosophy. I continue my education to constantly be up to date on current techniques as well as to advance my skills as a professional massage therapist. I look forward to the opportunity of helping you along your path to a healthier, happier, more balanced and pain free life.
