Athena Counseling

Welcome to the page for my private practice in Santa Rosa, CA. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working with older teens (17+) and adults. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Santa Barbara. Since I began providing counseling in 2009 I have been specializing in psychotherapy services for trauma recovery for survivors of sexual abuse, a

nd for persons suffering from anxiety. I have worked on the front lines of r**e trauma crisis teams and been an advocate for sexual assault survivors during forensic interviews and exams. I love this work and hope that if you are suffering you will reach out for help, whether from me or from a friend or loved one. It can be difficult to ask for help, even when we need it, so I'll meet you halfway and have my door open.
