He earned a B.A. in Biology from University of California, Santa Cruz, majoring in marine biology with an interest in aquaculture of invertebrates. He went back to Alaska but after deciding to become a chiropractor, returned to the Bay Area in order to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic – West in San Jose. He earned his doctoral degree in Chiropractic in 1993. Dr. Rose has completed several hundred hours of post-doctoral continuing education. These have included courses in chiropractic techniques, management, whiplash, medico-legal issues, ethics, nutrition and physio-therapy modalities.
