By asking hard questions and changing our viewpoint we learn more about who we are and why we do the things we do. After a couple of decades of meeting people one on one and teaching many in classes, I decided to retire. Still wanting to e

ncourage people to grow and to heal I began writing a few thoughts each day. After a few months I opened this special page. Not every thought will impact every person. My hope is that among the hundreds of thoughts each person will find one or two that make a difference for them. Continuing to heal our childhood traumas and grow as a person is a lifelong task. May each of you find within these thoughts a reason to laugh, a reason to cry, and courage to face the demons that plague us all. You are not alone. You walk in a light that will guide you if you let it. Pay attention to the coincidences all around you. Who comes into your life? Who leaves? It all matters. Allow your light to shine for others to see. Know you matter. visit page at

Walking refreshes your mind, body, and soul. Problems find solutions while you walk. Anger dissipates on your journey. Things always seem better after a nice walk. Try it. Slowly stretch your back, legs, arms and neck. Roll your shoulders forward then back. Reach for the sky. Bend forward at the hips not the waist. To ensure you bend correctly grasp your hip bones and feel them move as you go forward. Gently move round and round then raise your knees high. Breathe all through this exercise. Shake it out now and smile.

Sometimes the reaction people have toward you has less to do with what you did, and more to do with what you represent in their own minds.💥💡

There are situations where dislike or resentment is not rooted in harm or wrongdoing. Instead, it can come from comparison, insecurity, or the discomfort of seeing qualities in you that reflect what someone else feels they have not achieved or become.

That is a difficult truth to face.

But it is important not to internalize projections that were never truly about you. People can interpret your presence through the lens of their own struggles, frustrations, or unmet expectations.

This is why self-awareness and confidence matter.

You should never feel the need to reduce your light, your growth, or your presence just to make others feel more comfortable with their own insecurities. Shrinking yourself does not heal anyone else’s discomfort, and it often costs you your own peace.

Authenticity is not arrogance.

It is staying true to who you are without dimming yourself for the approval or comfort of others.

“The sun does not dim itself because someone prefers darkness.”
