Did you know that if you have Medicaid and know of a person that is willing to be your home health aid/caregiver, they could get paid for doing so? This is done through a program called Public Partnership LLC (PPL) (formally known as CDPAS. “Public Partnership LLC (PPL) is a self-directed home care service that gives empowerment to the Medicaid-eligible individuals to manage their own care. In this program, an individual can hire caregivers of their choice, even including their family members as a caregivers.” Our staff at the Tri-Lakes Center for Independent Living can help you get connected with this program.
