Meet Michelle
Michelle Roy LMT, E-RYT, Reiki Master, Essential Oil Specialist
Michelle has been teaching yoga since 2001 and practicing massage therapy since 2007. She incorporates Reiki and aromatherapy into her practice as well, providing a compassionate, restorative experience. She has studied anatomy and physiology extensively and has special expertise in yoga therapeutics and postural alignment. She uses the influences of Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine theory in her practice as well. Michelle has a special sensitivity for understanding energetic manifestations in the physical body and works with clients in partnership to meet their healing needs. She enjoys educating people about yoga anatomy, physical healing, energy medicine and aromatherapy in her weekly blog entitled, “In the Light”.
Her personal passions include forever remaining a student of yoga, nature, alternative education and the arts. She continues to study the body and holistic healing techniques. Michelle has two daughters, Nicole and Ravyn; She and her partner, Paul, reside in Sarasota.
