Since 2004, Dr. Mathew has been practicing cardiac electrophysiology in the Sarasota area. He has performed over 4,000 complex cardiac ablations and is well versed in the various heart conditions and treatments that affect millions of Americans each year. Dr. Mathew is a member of the Sarasota Memorial Hospital and the Venice Regional Bayfront Health center, and serves patients in surrounding cities including Port Charlotte, Sun City Center, Bradenton, and Tampa Bay. Our Story

Dilip J. Mathew, MD, FACC, FHRS, is Board Certified in Cardiology & Cardiac Electrophysiology and has been practicing in the Tampa Bay area since 2004. He has devoted his Sarasota practice entirely to the management of heart rhythm disorders. Dr. Mathew is involved in all aspects of managing cardiac arrhythmias. Respectively, he received training in cardiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard in Boston and in cardiac electrophysiology at Lahey Clinic, Massachusetts.

Antonio Moretta, MD, FHRS is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, and Echocardiography. Dr. Moretta joined Heart Rhythm Consultants, P.A. in November 2018 after servicing the Huntington area for five years. Respectively, he received training in cardiology at Lenox Hill Hospital and Northshore University and in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Stony Brook University.

Rajesh Malik, MD FACC, FHRS is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Malik joined Heart Rhythm Consultants, P.A. in February 2020 after servicing the Bradenton area. Respectively, he received training in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology at the Medical College of Virginia.

Electrophysiologists, or EP doctor for short, are cardiologists who have additional education and training in the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms.
