🌿✨ The Grief Movement ✨🌿

The Grief Movement already has the most followers because no one is immune to the human experience. We all experience grief.

No matter who you are, how much you have, or how beautiful your life may look… at some point, you will meet grief. Most of us already have grief we carry with us.

And here’s the truth: grief doesn’t separate us. It connects us.
It reminds us of our shared humanity. 💗

The remedy ~ is reconnection & rest. 🌙
Restoration brings relief, yes… but even more, it restores and re-members.

✨️ Rest brings us back together again.

It gathers back what was dismembered.
Body. Mind. Heart. Spirit.
It returns us to connection, to life, to our inner truth.

To remember who we really are as a whole human, reclaiming rest, celebrating bliss & honoring grief. 💫

✨️ What if rest became a way we remembered ourselves ~ together?

This is just the beginning.
I’ll soon be sharing simple weekly practices, gentle rituals, and monthly restorative spaces you can join from anywhere.

For now… I’d love to know, how does this land for you? 💫

🌙 Heal-Thy Self Body & Soul Care
✨ Sacred Rest | Wholeness, Healing & Belonging ✨️💜

Grief is not something to outrun, avoid, deny, fix, or put away. It lives in our body, shaping our breath, our sensations, our very presence, and perception of the world. And because it lives in us, the way through is not escape ~ it is embodiment.

When we allow ourselves to rest, breathe, and move gently with what is here, grief softens its edges. Not gone, but met. Not solved, but companioned. In this presence, the body becomes both the vessel and the medicine, teaching us to live, to feel, to belong, in the here and now, as it is.

This is a holy act. An act of soulful activism ~ to rest, to feel, to stay present in a world that pushes us to numb and produce. This is a quiet revolution.

The Divine does not rush to erase or fix but abides ~ steady, spacious, ever-present. Holding all without judgment, just as it is.

When we, too, choose to stay, to hold space, to breathe with what arises, we step into that same sacred rhythm. To live this way is to remember that presence itself is prayer.

Through healing balms of restorative movement, soothing practices of regulation, rituals of reflection & intention, and the grounding presence of community, we find the pathways of respite and repair, for ourselves and each other, together.🌙

Together, we can offer ourselves a sacred rhythm of ritual, rest, renewal, and return. 🌸 And so we begin, step by step, breath by breath. 👣✨️

This is just the beginning.

In the seasons ahead, new offerings of rest, ritual, and community will open as invitations to journey deeper ~ together, in presence, in wholeness, in belonging, in shared love & inner harmony. 🌙💜✨️

Grief is not the opposite of joy—it’s the soil of the soul that joy grows from. Grief is our teacher, a doorway, a companion shaping how joy and love take root in our lives.

This truth has been a profound guide for me and my work moving forward.

With each day bringing another news headline, conflict, disaster, or loss, the world feels heavy. Whether we realize it or not, we carry that weight inside us, not just daily stress, but deeper, older things written into our bodies and nervous systems.

Alongside the ordinary demands of home, family, and work, we carry personal grief, ancestral wounds, collective fear, and the ache of a world in transition. Some of what we carry is inherited, absorbed, or woven into us through culture.

For years, I tucked away my own trauma & grief behind my healing work. I told myself I didn’t have time to be in pain because I was here to share bliss and magic. But grief has its own medicine, its own wisdom—and there’s no denying its power.

Health and healing aren’t about bypassing the reality of pain. It's about making room for it. Letting it speak to us & through us —bringing us to our breaking points, and to our own becoming.

When we allow space for grief, we deepen and expand. We open.
We remember that joy and sorrow live in the same house.
That loss and love are inseparable.
That being human means holding the balance between it all.

This is The Grief Movement.

Not only a personal process, but a collective remembering.
A practice of coming home to our full selves.
A commitment to stop compartmentalizing and start integrating.

It’s not about wallowing, but about witnessing - with tenderness, with courage, with care.

When grief is honored, it becomes a doorway—
to depth, to connection, to aliveness, to each other. It unites us all.

This is the work.
This is the invitation.
This is the movement.

The Grief Movement is about remembering that grief and joy are not opposites, but partners. When we honor grief, we live more fully, love more deeply, and we rise from sorrow into authentic joy, not as an escape but through tending to the soil of our soul with love.

✨ “...because life is beautiful. Life is blissful. And life is brutal.” ✨

For years, my work has centered around creating spaces for shared joy, presence, and the magic of connection to ourselves and the world around us.

But here’s the truth: life doesn’t just stand in the light.
It gives us the full spectrum of our human experience.
The beauty and the brutality.

A season of intense health challenges pulled me off course. It was a detour I hadn't chose or planned for, it stopped me in my tracks. And it demanded I turn inward in a way I never had before. Wells of grief came up to be seen and heard, to be included. It asked that I be witnessed in my own humanity.

Everything changed direction, and it all came rushing in. Grief. Trauma. Old losses. The things I hadn’t had the time or capacity to fully feel while I was moving through life, doing the work, staying in motion.

If we only make room for the light, we’re not telling the truth.
If we leave grief, loss, and pain at the door, we’re leaving people behind - including parts of ourselves.

All of us belongs in our practice, in our retreats, in the conversation. Grief belongs here with us, where we can move with it, feeling what it brings forward, revealing what needs care, attention, or deeper connection, & inviting us to stay open, even when it’s uncomfortable.

This is the shift I’ve made in my life and in my work: To hold space for all of it.
To stop separating healing from hurting.
To honor both joy and sorrow as equal parts of what it means to be human.

I’m not interested in pretending.
I’m interested in wholeness.
In authenticity, in truth.
In creating new spaces that can hold it all- with love, courage, and compassion.

Because real healing happens when we stop dividing light from shadow, joy from sorrow. It happens in the balance between them. When we hold everything with open hands and open hearts.

This is the medicine.
This is the revelation.
This is the transformation.
This is the balance we’re here to learn.

Hello from my "office" to the beautiful Heal-Thy Self Yoga & Wellness community, 🌹

Over the past few months, I’ve been on a significant detour. As many of you may know, a personal health challenge came up unexpectedly and, in many ways, halted everything I had spent years building.

It wasn’t part of the plan.

But it became a powerful teacher.

I used to think of detours as delays. But now I see them as invitations, to slow down, to reflect, and to discover something deeper. To welcome a new chapter of life, in between what was and what will be.

In truth, detours are unavoidable. We can’t bypass them, we must walk through them, and grow through them, even amidst uncertainty or discomfort. It is the soil of our soul from which we grow. 🌱

During this time, I’ve been learning to prioritize a life that feels good, not just looks good on paper, but one that genuinely thrives in harmony and balance.

I’ve leaned into seeking out help, absorbing new routines, courses, practices, books, and choices that bring authentic nourishment to my daily life, and allows me to live in true embodied alignment with my needs and values.

I've taken this time to learn from my body and receive what I need to feel good. That’s what Heal-Thy Self has always stood for: not for “healing” or fixing, but for building a healthy life that we get to shape consciously, lovingly, and intentionally, for our own unique sense of well-being.

And now, I feel the next season of Heal-Thy Self calling from the soil of my soul. 🌹

~ Workshops and retreats are beginning to take shape, but this time, with a renewed sense of purpose and intentionality. They’ll be just as magical, while rooted in the kind of connection, growth, and opportunity that's been inspired from life’s detours; from the unchosen paths that, in the end, make us who we’re becoming, and lead to an even better life waiting for us. It's where the present self pauses and renews itself to make room for our future self to be brought to life within us.

I can’t wait to walk the next part of this journey with you; a new chapter of Heal-Thy Self is taking root, one that invites us to tend to the soil of our souls, together. 🌹🌹🌹

Stretching is no longer just part of a routine—it’s essential. 🌿

Not just for the body, but for the mind and heart. 💓 Our bodies hold memory, stress, emotion, and the impact of every moment we live through. They also hold the possibility of our future—because without our bodies, we cannot move forward. 🦋

How we tend to our physical form is how we shape our future well-being. When we stretch our bodies, we stretch our capacity for resilience—mentally, emotionally, and energetically. 🌸

Stretching helps release what we carry, soften what’s rigid, and invites energy to flow more freely. This movement, gentle and intentional, creates space for life to circulate and balance to return. 🌾⁣

As harmony circulates within our bodies and minds, it naturally shapes how we meet the world—and how we receive it in return. 🌊🕊

Everything is connected. The way we care for ourselves becomes the way we experience our life. 🌷☀️

“Stretching used to be a warm-up. Now it’s a full-blown survival strategy.”

This photo from 2023 brings back so many magical memories of Heal-Thy Self Yoga & Wellness — a time of creating, guiding, and holding space for women to feel nourished and fulfilled on every level. It was a wonder-filled season of devotion, creativity, and reverent care — for the body, the heart, and the soul. The light I felt for this work shined through everything I shared. ✨

Funnily enough, Heal Thyself has taken on a much more personal meaning these past several months. Life insisted I turn inward and truly live what I taught — not for anyone else, but for myself.

It’s been a season of deep self-inquiry, discomfort, solitude, and tenderness. I’m learning to meet myself in a new way — a way that asks for slowness, compassion, and presence.

Though I’m not currently leading retreats, the essence of what we cultivated — deep listening, nourishment, embodiment — is more alive in my life than ever. It’s simply unfolding more quietly now… behind the scenes, and within.

In a world that glorifies doing, I’m learning to simply be. To rest. To return.

~ I’ve been diving deep into books, women’s health courses, and healing wisdom… finding new ways to care for myself — and eventually, to support others again too.

There’s no polished ending to share just yet. But I am learning: what to carry, what to let go of, and what my body is truly asking for. Most importantly, I'm learning how to honor the seasons of my life.

For those exploring local retreats or wellness programs, you may come across offerings shaped by the original format I brought to life.

While you’ll find pieces of this in other places now, the magic of the original remains its own — a sacred blend of restorative movement, breath, meditation, self-massage, touch therapies, reflection, embodiment, and nourishment — including brunches, teas, and lovingly curated experiences. ✨

Thank you for your patience, and walking this path with me. I’ll be back when the time is right — with offerings rooted in the same heart and connection, enriched by everything this season is teaching me. ❤️

It’s been a little while since I’ve shared here, as I've been giving myself space to rest and reset after some personal health challenges. But when I came across this quote, I felt called to post again:

“A healer is not someone that you go to for healing. A healer is someone that triggers within you, your own ability to heal yourself.”

This message speaks deeply to what Heal Thy Self is all about. I don’t believe anyone needs fixing—I believe we already hold everything we need inside ourselves. My work, through retreats and wellness & wonder experiences, is simply about helping you remember who you are. 💕

Sometimes we just need a safe space to reconnect with our own inner wisdom—through movement, stillness, breath, beauty, and presence. Bliss begins with self-love.🌸
