The summit included insightful presentations on the evolution of recovery residence research and advocacy-focused language training, along with powerful panel discussions featuring operators and graduates.

Staff from our Muncie, Indiana team were proud to attend the 7th Annual Delaware County Symposium on Substance Use Disorders at Ball State University!

Throughout the day, our team participated in impactful breakout sessions including Naloxone training, SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment), and QPR (Question, Persuade, and Refer) certification, continuing to strengthen the tools needed to support those facing substance use challenges.

We also connected with attendees at our resource table, sharing information about our residential treatment programs, recovery housing, and outpatient addiction services.

Together, we’re committed to expanding knowledge, reducing stigma, and supporting recovery in our communities.

Centerstone staff were proud to attend the annual NAMI Indiana Mental Health & Criminal Justice Summit.

Melanie Thevenow from the Brown County office partnered with Dr. Allison Howland of the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community Center for Collaborative Systems Change to present “Criminal Justice Liaison: Reimagining the Role of the Peer Recovery Support Specialist in a Rural County Jail.”

The team also connected with attendees, sharing resources and highlighting ways we can work together to support individuals involved in the criminal justice system.

Help Improve 988 Crisis Services in Tennessee!

Centerstone’s Institute is seeking volunteers (18+) with personal or family experiences with mental health crises to participate in a 15-minute survey on the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. This study aims to examine the experiences of populations at high risk for su***de, barriers experienced using the 988 Lifeline, and access to mental health services during a crisis.
