Well, 3 years cancer free. Changed the way I eat an lost about 40lbs. Doctors are happy, and I feel better.

Just an update. Almost 2 years post surgery and treatment and I am still clear. Better news is that it seems like I am starting to get a little feeling back in my chest. Only issue with that is the itching that I can't seem to get to and the lighting flashes on the edges. Still very thankful for the support.

So, in the continuous journey of trying to continue my healing, a fantastic friend told me about lympa-press. As you can see it wraps around my chest and fully covers my arm. This sleeve is connected toban air pump and inflates in order from my hand up. Even after a single use, I noticed a diffrece.

To memorialize being a cancer survivor, I got a new Tattoo. We are called and , like my scars and the changes the chemo has made, I will carry this as a reminder that I am stronger than even I though I was.

Even though my last treatment is completed, that doesn't mean the effects of the cancer, surgery, or treatments are over. I now have lymphadema in my left arm. This basicly means that if I do ANY type of physical activity with my left arm it swells. While the swelling is usually painless, if left untreated it could act as a tourniquet causing severe injury. As if that wasn't enough, the strength in my left arm is about half of what it was before surgery. So please, if you know someone that has gone through this process understand when they can't do what they used to beable to do without much effort. Also, concider the mental aspect of these changes as it take considerable time to adjust to our new norm.

Ok. So, this rounds wierd side effect was my face started to itch and burn like a terrible sunburn! I meet a wounderful woman named Jaymie Martinez sometime around mid Aug. This lady is a survivor herself and mentioned that she had studied to be a skin care professional specializing in Chemo patients. After about 3 days of suffering with this burning, itching, peeling, along with my skin feeling like saran wrap across my face, it finally clicked to call and ask her for help. This fantastic lady not only said she had what I needed, but would kindly meet me today. She had organic cleaner and 2 diffrent organic moisturizers. This product is amazing. After the first application I got such relief.
