As we close out our celebration of Women and Girls in Science, we are proud to recognize Dr. Laila Abdullah, Senior Scientist at The Roskamp Institute.

Dr. Abdullah plays a leading role in advancing research on the neurological impacts of environmental toxins, including our groundbreaking Red Tide research. Her work is helping uncover how exposure affects brain health. She is also leading our research focused on identifying therapeutic strategies for veterans affected by Gulf War Illness.

We are honored to celebrate her leadership, expertise, and the meaningful impact of her research.
