I have had a heavy heart thinking about the senseless death of Corey Comperatore. Today all I have been doing is researching his Italian ancestry. I found his GGP who came to the US to PA from Calabria Italy. Finding their births, their marriage records in Italy. The naturalization of his GGF after the birth of his GF, and then his father and then Corey. He had a viable line to dual citizenship via the Italian consulate. I don't know if he had it, if he wanted it - or if his two daughter wanted to preserve his/their Italian heritage and memory. I would love to share what I have found. My heart breaks for them. I lost my father 5 years ago tomorrow but not in such a way....no words RIP Corey xo
