Just realizing how I don’t give enough credit for other people and stuff that makes me be able to be who I want to be. Wow, after years of searching for home exercise/stretching devices to back (get it) up our hand (chiro) work, using a myriad of mainly bending backward over triangles, rolls, towels, balls, straps etc., our Chiropractic heroes at Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP) have come through again by backing Dr. Denneroll's invention of the Denneroll system of spinal molding assistance. See http://denneroll.com/ web site for a pretty thorough website about these devices. Our previous systems of home assistance are good, but the bar has been raised by CBP and the Denneroll invention. The previous systems are good to continue using, however the Denneroll system quantifiably increases effectiveness, in my opinion by 20% in the lumbar and thoracic regions, and 10% in the cervical region (over the neck strap procedure which is pretty strong). Further kudos to the cervical system are given as lying on the Denneroll cervical device is 80% easier to set up and use than the cervical strap. We are establishing at least a four to five session minimum in office before allowing this powerful tool to go home with the patient. X-ray analysis is necessary to prescribe the optimum placement of the device also. Thank you for sharing our excitement over the administration of this CORRECTIVE device (vs. simply palliative non corrective procedures). I have been waiting and looking for the evolution of the home stretch device to reach this level and it is now.

Met the president of Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP), Dr. Deed Harrison, this past Saturday at Florida Chiro Convention. You know the guy on the Denneroll videos at the office. We all are lucky to have him as one of our leaders. CBP publishes more research papers on the efficacy of their methods (including Denneroll) than any other Chiropractic method. Thus you know the procedures we use on you in our office are well researched to provide the best results to change your life. The only limitation is you. We are here to teach..the meaning of the word "doctor".

Here is a video time lapse of what loosing the normal forward (lordosis) does to the spine. To explain, as the postural weight moves forward of the center line (as you slouch through the day) the wisdom of the body initiates an enlargement of the front pieces of the spine called the vertebral bodies. The vertebral bodies, normally carrying only 1/3 of the weight are now challenged with more and more work load and enlarge themselves to handle the task. This enlargement of bone takes up space where nerves need to pass. The shock absorbing job of the front of the spine is exchanged (discs rupture) for a weight bearing one as the head goes forward and the curve reverses. Weight bearing is the back of the spines job, as there are no shock absorbing discs back there. Chiropractic adjustments and bending backward stretches over the orthotic bring the loads back to where they were designed to be handled. This problem affects us due to too much sitting (car, desk) and slouching (sofa, lazy-boy, school) along with injuries (falls, auto accidents) that all throw us onto the front of our spines where there is less sensation (feels better to slouch forward). By the way these Denneroll devices are just what we have always wanted as an adjunct to a corrective Chiropractic adjustment to the spine. EVERY patient current and established needs to be fitted for one of these spinal orthotic devices. No matter where you've been or how long you've been away, please come in to be sized and fitted for at least the cervical orthotic. The cervical spine is most important as it is the "steering wheel" of the entire spine (even the low back). This includes patients that have not seen us for quite a while. If you have ever received care from us and disappeared, and want to continue some form of spinal care on your own this is the device for you. These orthotics are the next generation of fulcrums to rollers to spinal orthotics!!

Cervical Denneroll (neck traction block video). Truly an amazingly powerful device (I know I should have invented it..I was getting there). I have been telling patients for years that the one area I have difficulty correcting is the "hump" area (C-7/T-1). I also hate the extension strap traction. Well Dr. Denneroll invented it first and here it is!! This device equals the strap devices and is totally more convenient to increase compliance (i.e. you can lie down and smart phone yourself right through the session).
