We’re proud to share that Sunnyside Village has been awarded the Governor’s Gold Seal Award for Excellence in Long-Term Care — one of Florida’s highest honors for quality care and resident satisfaction.

During a special reception on our campus, CEO Heather Neff and Director of Health Services Jason Brunner accepted the award on behalf of our incredible team. This recognition is given to only a select group of long-term care communities across the state that demonstrate exceptional performance, compassionate care, and strong leadership.

We are so grateful for our team, our residents, and the families who trust us every day. 💛

Our residents had such a wonderful time with Tim Walsh from The Playmakers!

He shared the fascinating story “Laughter and Longevity: The Life of Eddie Goldfarb” celebrating the creative genius behind so many classic toys, including the Yakity-Yak Talking Teeth, KerPlunk, Battling Tops, and Vac-U-Form. The joy, laughter, and nostalgia these toys brought generations sparked so many smiles and conversations throughout the room.

We’re grateful to Tim for bringing this inspiring and lighthearted program to our residents!
