Every woman’s menopause journey is different, but here are some of the most common symptoms you might encounter:

🔥 Hot Flashes & Night Sweats: Sudden waves of heat or excessive sweating, often at night, can be one of the most noticeable symptoms.
🛌 Sleep Issues: Many women find that falling or staying asleep becomes harder during menopause.
💔 Mood Swings: Feeling like you’re on an emotional rollercoaster? Hormonal changes can bring sudden mood shifts, anxiety, or even depression.
🎢 Irregular Periods: Your periods may become lighter, heavier, or completely unpredictable during perimenopause.
🧠 Brain Fog: Difficulty concentrating or remembering things is common for some women.

What is Menopause?
Menopause is more than just “the end of your periods.” It’s a natural biological process that marks the end of your reproductive years. It officially begins 12 months after your last period—but the journey starts much earlier!

➡️ Perimenopause (aka “menopause transition”): This is the lead-up to menopause, which can last several years (even up to 10!). It’s when your body starts producing less estrogen, and you may start to notice symptoms like irregular periods and mood swings.
➡️ Menopause: Once you’ve gone 12 months without a period, you’re officially in menopause. Your ovaries produce very little estrogen, and periods stop for good.
➡️ Postmenopause: The years after menopause. Hormone levels stay low, and while some symptoms may ease, others (like hot flashes) can linger for a while.
