Congratulations, Pine View! A very special place!! 🎉

We're thrilled to share the outstanding achievements of our schools, as recognized by U.S. News & World Report! Pine View School for the Gifted claims the coveted title of #1 best high school in Florida and an impressive #18 nationwide. Suncoast Polytechnical High School secured its place as the 37th-best high school in the state and 487th nationally. At the same time, Riverview High School - Sarasota, Florida proudly earns 71st in Florida and 1,140th in the nation among 17,655 nationally ranked high schools and 647 in Florida.

In addition, our middle schools excel, with Pine View School at #3, Sarasota Middle School at #54, and Laurel Nokomis School at #66 out of 3,076 schools. Brookside Middle School earned #60 in Florida Magnet Middle Schools out of 248.

Furthermore, our elementary schools shine brightly, with Pine View School ranking #2, Ashton Elementary at #16, and Phillippi Shores IB World School at #102 in Florida out of 4,212 schools.

How cool! The drummer from Blondie taking part in a study that shows how kiddos who are often stopped with a fear of making mistakes (very common for kids with ASD as well as gifted kids with perfectionist tendencies) train their brains to overcome this through percussion… a breakthrough worth the noise!
