🌱 What if your child could catch a negative thought before it took over?

Most kids go through childhood never being taught to pay attention to the stories running in their head. Those stories become beliefs. And those beliefs? They shape everything.

At Mindset Movement Academy, we make mindset FUN. Think hands-on activities, games, yoga, brain-based movement, storytelling with characters kids fall in love with, and creative art that lets them express what they're discovering. Your child won't just learn this stuff. They'll feel it, move through it, and create with it.

Week 1 of "The Power Within" is all about THOUGHTS, and it's the foundation for everything that follows over 6 weeks.

Starting April 15th. Ages 6 to 13. Sarasota. Step Up Scholarships accepted. Spots are very limited because I keep groups intentionally small.

What if your child never had to question their worth? 🤍✨

My daughter was being bullied. And as a mama, watching her have to navigate something no child should ever have to face alone, it broke my heart.

But it also lit a fire in me.

That's why I created Mindset Movement Academy.

I knew she needed more than my support. She needed real, lasting tools. The kind that live inside her. Confidence that can't be shaken. The deep knowing that she is capable of moving through anything life brings.

For her. And for every child who deserves to grow up knowing their own worth.

Because the truth is, so many adults spend years healing beliefs that were formed in childhood. Rewiring. Unlearning. What if we gave kids those tools now?

That's what we do at Mindset Movement Academy every single week, through movement, mindset, and creative expression.

'The Power Within' starts April 15th in Sarasota. Ages 6–13 · Small group · Limited spots.

Something new is unfolding… and it’s unlike anything we’ve done before.

The Power Within is an all-new 6-week story adventure where kids don’t just learn mindset skills. They live them out inside a connected, imaginative journey that builds week by week.

I’ve taken the most impactful ideas from everything we’ve explored together and woven them into one immersive experience that continues to grow each time they come.

Through movement, art, and creative expression woven into an unfolding story, kids step into it as it comes to life around them.

Each week brings new moments, new challenges, and just enough curiosity to keep them wondering what happens next.

It’s playful.
It’s creative.
It’s designed to draw them in and keep them engaged.

And by the end… it all connects.

A little peek inside what our time together looks like lately…

balancing feathers
trying (and retrying) handstands
finding focus in crow pose
painting, creating, laughing along the way

It might look like play… and it is.

But in these moments, kids are building so much more than it seems.
Focus. Coordination. Confidence.
Learning how to slow down, try again, and trust themselves.

And the best part…
they’re having fun while doing it.

This is the kind of space I love creating for kids 🤍

Because struggle is coming either way.

We can’t take that away from our kids…
but we can give them something powerful.

Because in those hard moments, everything comes down to this:

Do they shut down…
or do they know how to move through it?

Do they avoid challenges…
or face them with confidence?

Do they tell themselves “I can’t”…
or “I’ll figure it out”?

That’s what we focus on.

Through movement, stories, and hands-on activities that bring it all to life, kids start to use what they’re learning in real moments.

And that’s where the shift happens 💛

Fear in kids doesn’t always look like fear.

Sometimes it sounds like:

“I don’t want to try.”
“I don’t know how.”
“I don’t want to mess it up.”

We've been exploring this through different stories like The Knight and the Three Dragons:

🐉 the Dragon of Fear
🐉 the Dragon of Doubt
🐉 the Dragon of Judgment

Because for a lot of kids, those are the real “dragons” that show up when something feels hard.

And in those moments, it’s usually not about ability.

It’s what’s going through their mind.

The hesitation.
The second-guessing.
The fear of getting it wrong… or being judged.

And when that takes over, kids don’t always need more help.

They need to understand what’s happening inside, so they don’t shut down before they even begin.

That’s where things start to shift.

You can usually tell which “dragon” is showing up just by what a child says.

Kids don’t struggle because things are hard.

They struggle because of the story they attach to the hard thing.

“I’m bad at this.”
“I always mess up.”
“Everyone else is better.”
“I can’t.”

When a child believes those thoughts are facts, that’s when the real dragon shows up.

Inside Slaying Dragons, kids learn how to question the story in their head… and choose a stronger one.
