Famous People’s Astro Charts 🌌🌻

This weekend, we went to see Van Gogh’s exhibit in Denver and as we are diving into Venus retrograde, for me it was a reminder of my deep love for art!!

Van Gogh’s most influential signs were fire and water which can be very difficult to navigate as it can create a bipolar type of energy like two magnetic forces noticed with his depressives struggles and suicidal tendencies. In Chinese medicine, this often leads to a miscommunication between fire and water that unbalances the whole organism. His moon and south node was in Sagittarius which is shown with his bold style, extreme and impulsive tastes, and the karmic influence of his parents who were very rigid in their religious views. His north node landed in the 12th house in the sign of Gemini, which says the direction of his soul was to explore the deepest sufferings and express it through art. The 12th house represents the unseen, the unconscious mind, escapism that can be used through spirituality or alcoholism, drugs and any other bridge that can take us to reach the unseen to find relief from the pain that this physical existence carries - those with planets in the 12th house and Pisces understand this really well 🙋🏻‍♀️ This house rules psychiatric hospitals, foreign lands, intuition, dreams, loneliness, isolation and all what is unseen. His life and work of art remind us on how we innately have these karmic contracts with the universe and we have the choice to use the elevated or tragic natures of the signs, planets and houses. Finally, his sun in Aries is beautifully expressed with all the vibrant reds and yellows used on his paintings. The sun in our chart reminds us on what we shine, the inner light that we carry and what we are here to share with our existence, that’s why every solar return is a reminder of our inner gift. In his case, his legacy reminds us to be bold, courageous, to go after what we want by acting, moving and doing even if we fail, that’s the high message of the planet Mars that can be reflected with his words: “what would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything? 🌻🎨

We're finally here! We're experiencing the final full moon of the year, in Gemini!

The full moon in Gemini is ruled by Mercury, making this a good time to communicate and share with others about our emotional needs and interests. We also have a harmonious trine with Jupiter in Aquarius, creating a good time to be socializing and bonding with friends and new people who support us in who we truly are, regardless of any differences, opinions, or perspectives, which is something the Universe has taught us for the past eclipses in Sagittarius and Gemini for the last 18 months.

On December 19, Venus goes fully retrograde in Capricorn, reminding us to practice having healthy boundaries with others, working on self-love, and reflecting on our relationships with our career and finances. Venus retrograde tends to bring people back from the past, and karmic lessons, so this is the moment to pay attention to any power dynamics within others, especially in regards to love life and family during the holidays.

The sign of Gemini is represented by the Tarot card, The Lovers. When we have this full moon, just remember we're always given choices and it's always best to take the higher road when we communicate and express ourselves with others. ✨ Showing up every moment just as You are takes a lot of Surrendering to the Divine or Ishwara Pranidhana ✨

It’s becoming so real!!! I entered the third trimester and the thought of having my baby in my arms combined with all the hormones can be so exciting and so emotional at the same time. This river of emotions reminds me to come back to my yoga practice every morning to help me ground myself. I know it can be hard to get moving during this stage but as we get closer to labor we want to continue interacting with our inner world, preparing our hip muscles, and sending nourishing messages to our baby.

Prenatal yoga has taught me more than ever to understand that where I am is exactly where I need to be, there’s no rush to transition to the next pose because this is the season to slow down, contemplate and notice my own inner child wounds so I can heal transgenerational trauma. Uff, it’s not easy but so worthy if we want to cut ancestral trauma that lives in our uterus.

It has taught me to listen more to my intuition, my inner voice and also what my body is telling me. Some days the world seems like it is going so fast and I’m in a different frequency creating a safe space for my baby and me - and that’s ok. I don’t know what the future will bring but I’m trusting in the bigger picture.

Trusting the process, smiling, and remembering that life is happening for you, not to you ♥️♥️♥️

Venus is the planet of love, beauty, money, resources, and will be in retrograde reminding us to reflect on our karmic lessons regarding love, relationship with finances, authority figures, career, and self-care.

Retrogrades are times to reevaluate and reflect. Because this Venus in retrograde is in Capricorn, which is a sign that is linked to our vocation, purpose, ancestral lineage, and the way we manage our finances and businesses, it's a time to review if we're following our purpose, if we're investing the proper amount of time in the right relationships, managing our resources properly, and if we're balancing the time with ourselves.

Venus retrograde has been building up since mid-November but will go full retrograde on December 19, 2021. Remember that Venus retrogrades tend to bring back memories, people from our past, lessons from past lives, and karmic lovers, and it's a time to not rush into impulsive decisions in regards to love and purchases, but to create a plan on how we're managing our resources. It's a great time to rebuild the foundation, if you have a business, so it can become stronger in the upcoming months, and re-explore the relationship we have with money, so we can make smarter financial choices.

Because Venus reminds us of self-love, it's a great time to return to self-healing and notice if there's more darkness, control issues and pessimism so we can work with positive affirmations. It's also a great time to seek out healers to heal any wounds from our childhood and maintain healthy boundaries with others as we have Pluto combined with this venus retrograde creating power struggles in our relationships.

In this Astro update, we talk about the upcoming New Moon Solar eclipse in Sagittarius, with the south node in Mercury and Sagittarius. For the past 18 months, we've been having a lot of lessons in the Sagittarius and Gemini houses, so this final eclipse represents the wrapping up of all of the lessons, and it's a time to be sincerely honest with ourselves and others on how we can remove our blockages. Sagittarius is well-known as the centaur, and it's a fire sign full of optimism, hope, adventure, and rules international affairs, foreign lands, education, philosophies, and religion, so these are areas where we might have felt stagnant in our lives, but with this eclipse, we will see liberation upon the horizon for the next six months.

A little late but excited to talk about the Sun entering Sagittarius. Sagittarius energy is so present 🏹 A time of hunting adventure and exciting mental, imaginary & physical trips. Remember that we are in between eclipses which highlights that we are entering into new chapters. We all feel changes in the air and that’s very exciting but for those who are sensitive to energy, it can be very draining so let’s be kind to those that are adjusting to new frequencies.

Sagittarius are known for being seekers of the truth and they can be bold and impulsive with their belief system, especially now that Mercury has enter Sag. As we approach the last eclipse in ♐️ use the energy to liberate yourself from old traps that you’ve been telling yourself, liberate yourself from the past and move forward to a more exciting new You aligned with your passions, aspirations and what makes your heart shine. Speak your truth and your opinions without letting them define you - keep questioning, reflecting and be open minded in the way you see yourself and society. I must say that the Gemini/Sagittarius eclipses were personally exhausting. We saw the constant battle of duality and loud mental noise creating division and tension between groups. Let’s not forget that we wake up together not individually and we are learning to live peacefully with all beings regardless our political, scientific, religious, culture and legal affiliations. In no way am I saying not to get involved, be active on your pursue to find justice without ignoring to be compassionate to all social groups regardless their different views. This is the work we need to do, let’s become more compassionate and humane as society without getting stuck in our ways. Let’s celebrate diversity!

As we move into Ta**us/Scorpio eclipses next year, let’s use it to generate raw real conversations and deeper bonds to collaborate together.

It’s been a while my friends, but you all have been present in my heart.
