Dr. Patel started iCare Vision Center in 2014, right after finishing his Residency-training at C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center. Dr. Ankit Patel is Residency-trained and board-certified optometric physician. Dr. Patel graduated from USF, Tampa FL with a B.S. He went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from NSU NOVA, Fort Lauderdale FL. Dr. Patel and his wife, Roshani, live in Sarasota FL. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family,outdoors activities, playing basketball and exercising. Dr. Patel is qualified and licensed to follow and monitor the ocular manifestations of diabetes, macular degeneration, and cataracts. Furthermore, Dr.Patel is licensed to issue prescriptions for medications in the treatment of dry eyes, ocular allergies, ocular infections, and glaucoma! Optometrist Services:
