Remember, when voting for a presidential candidate, you are voting for the person who best represents not just the United States of America but also American prosperity, safety, and constitutional rights. You can be affiliated with one party and vote locally for an amendment that may sway toward the other party. I am a proud Republican and have always voted that way. I have friends who are Democrats and I respect the American process and privilege that allows us as Americans the right to choose differently. I want my fellow Americans to remember that the Supreme Court overturned Roe vs Wade and gave the people of each state the right to vote on Abortion rights. As I said, I am a Republican and Pro-Life myself, however, I do believe that my daughters and other women in Florida have the right to Pro-Choice, so I voted "yes" on Constitutional Amendment 4 No law in Florida can prohibit, penalize, delay or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect a woman's health, as determined by their healthcare professional. This amendment does not change the Legislature's constitutional authority to require notification to a parent or guardian before a minor has an abortion. If our girls need parental permission to get their ears pierced at the mall then why is it so hard for someone to understand that a parent has the right to guide our minor children when making life-changing decisions. Educate yourself before voting. It does not affect just you, but generations to come...
