π±ππ I like to watch nature shows because they are are easy on the eyes and the heart, esp the ones where celebrities explore the raw wild! I love seeing how nature has this primal power over us, how it turns us on, and if we are open to it, who we are comes to recognize itself - as a part of the natural world. π±
πͺ Think about before mirrors were commonplace in the last 80 years, water was the most accessible way of seeing oneβs own reflection.
π We used nature to see ourselves. π
π Why do you think that is? π
We looked into the water to see our own reflection because that is who we are, and we are no different then all the other beings of this world. We are not separate or superior. We are a part of each other. Nature is the invisible web that holds us all. We are the water and the water is us. We are made up of nature.
π» Nature is who we are. π ...and we only find this out when we walk out into the wild, π and everything else about our lives fades away, allowing us to appear to ourselves. π£
π± Nature asks us who we are when nothing is asked of us... without our jobs, roles, expectations of the modern world; without all the rules, demands, problems, and people, we belong to ourselves; we are just another part of the wild world, which is also our real home. π
πͺΎThe wild world undresses us of "who we THINK we are", and returns to us our ancient anonymity, our sovereignty, our primal connection to all of life; our sacred belonging. Our animal body remembers, too. πΎ
Because without clothes and shoes, we are the wild. π This revelation is almost always revealed: Nature is our sacred teacher, offering just a glimpse into our relationship with our Creator and the original Divine intention for life itself, revealing our place in the flow of life.
π£ We often walk into the wild as one person and come out another. πΎπ±β¨π±β¨π
