Good Morning Sweeties!
This morning I am grateful for the healing power of nature. See today’s photo. These orchids now in bloom were dead when Jo attached them to the Pygmy palm and said, “It’s up to you.” Well through hurricanes, heat and cold, they not only revived, they thrived. I am grateful for nature just knowing what to do. I am grateful for how peaceful I feel in our tiny garden.
And I am grateful for the healing power of music and rhythm. Beethoven’s 5th symphony has been found to kill 20% of cancer cells. It’s not cumulative though, playing it over and over won’t multiply the results. But Harvard and other medical research institutions are researching how to amplify the effect. And they are having some astonishing results. Certain musical combinations cause a protein, p53, known as the “guardian of the genome” to turn on and heal damaged DNA.
I am grateful that mainstream science is investigating seemingly magical things and finding ways to bring them forward in new fruitful ways. So, in the meantime, if you are dealing with an illness or just living in stressful times, why not play a bit ole Ludwig and chill out. And have the best day ever. ❤️
