Kim Bociek, A.P., Board Certified Acupuncture Physician
Kim, a Sarasota resident since 1996, has suffered from disabling pain for years and was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. After exhausting Western medical treatment, she turned to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. She now lives drug and pain free. This personal experience gives her a unique understanding of the physical, mental, and financial toll an illness can take.
A native of Massachusetts, Kim received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Her medical education continued at the East West College of Natural Medicine in Sarasota where she received her Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine; she is a Florida Board & National Certified Acupuncture Physician. With over 18 years of medical health industry experience, she has treated a variety of disorders: acute and chronic pain, arthritis, digestive issues, back pain, insomnia, anxiety and depression, as well as stress related illnesses.
