A tongue tie is a piece of tissue under the tongue that can restrict its movement and function. This can lead to significant breastfeeding challenges, such as the baby's inability to effectively extract milk, pain for the mother, and a potential reduction in milk supply.

We are here to support you in getting a tongue tie released and will work with you and your baby to help you fully return to breastfeeding.

While vaginal breech births can sometimes be safe, they carry a higher risk, especially with feet-first positioning. Due to these increased risks and birth center restrictions, we refer all clients experiencing a breech presentation to the hospital for delivery. There are a few out-of-hospital breech providers available elsewhere in the state, but birth centers like ours are not permitted to offer these services.

We maintain a strong relationship with Sarasota Memorial Hospital, meeting quarterly with their OB staff to ensure seamless communication and quick responses for our clients.

While we don't assign doulas, we often collaborate with Nicky Quick's doula group due to their extensive services, allowing families to choose support that best fits their needs. Additionally, we connect clients with chiropractors specializing in prenatal care and the Webster technique for holistic support.
