Join us for Ukeru Systems Train-the-Trainer Training, hosted by All Star Children's Foundation!

📅 April 27 & 28 | 8:30AM – 5:00PM
📍 3300 17th St., Sarasota, FL 34235

This two-day training covers trauma-informed practices, de-escalation strategies, and physical techniques — all within a restraint and seclusion-FREE framework designed to create safe, comfortable environments for both staff and students/clients.

💡 Ukeru (Japanese for "receive") is a proven crisis management method focused on comfort over control.

We were invited to present on Trauma-Informed Care for Juvenile Justice Staff by Jarrett Ballo, Chief Probation Officer at the Department of Juvenile Justice.

We focused on enhancing the team’s understanding of trauma and its impact on youth involved in juvenile justice, taught skills to support resilience and foster healing, and promoted trauma-informed practices to improve youth outcomes and reduce retraumatization. We had a wonderful time learning from one another and hope to continue collaborating in the future!
