There’s no other solace like coming home to a furry friend who is always happy to see you. My furry companions are always genuinely curious about what I am eating, reading, or bringing home in a bag (“treats for us?”.) They’ll dance with me on a whim, jump in the car any time for any reason, fetch a ball a million times, and pay attention to me when I talk to them (mostly.) I will go to the mailbox and come back within 2 minutes…behold the emphatic tail wags upon my return! That’s unconditional love at its finest.

Yes, inconvenient. I can’t fly off to the Riviera at a moments notice, and I have to make sure theyve been fed, walked and paid proper attention to. Yeah, that’s a bummer…Yes, every time I’m “up in cash” one of them will need an emergency vet visit.

Fair trade for their lifetime of adoration and loyalty. I cannot imagine my life without a dog (cat, horse, alpaca, insert your favorite animal here ______.)
