Speaking Up is the First Step 🗣️ Stigma often prevents families from talking to their doctors about the "tougher" parts of Parkinson’s. Ryan Reynolds and his mother, Tammy, are sharing their story to help destigmatize these common symptoms.

"I want this work to encourage conversations," says Ryan. By talking early and often, we can help ensure better care for ourselves and our loved ones.

A Day of Remembrance and Community 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave individuals who served our country. At Neuro Challenge Foundation, we are proud to serve our local veterans and community members living with Parkinson’s, providing them with the tools they need to live life to the fullest.

As we gather with friends and family this weekend, we invite you to help us sustain our mission of hope and localized support. A gift today helps us keep our upcoming June 5th Symposium and monthly wellness programs free for all who need them.

Take Control of Your Next Doctor’s Visit 📋 Discussing non-motor symptoms like hallucinations and delusions is a critical part of PD care. Use these steps to prepare:
Note Everything: Track both motor and non-motor symptoms, including things you see or hear that others don't.

Bring a Checklist: Use a guide to ensure you don't miss any concerns.
Ask About Options: Discuss safety at home and ask about treatment options.
Only your doctor can determine the right treatment for you.

Recognizing the Signs 👀 Parkinson’s-related hallucinations and delusions often start mild—like mistaking a sock for a small animal or sensing a presence that isn't there. They may involve:
• Hallucinations: Seeing, hearing, or sensing things others don’t.
• Delusions: False beliefs, such as thinking people are trying to cause harm or being unfaithful.

If you notice these signs, inform your doctor right away. Don't wait until symptoms get out of control.
