CALLING ALL HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES

Reminder that there is a new state law taking effect this summer that REQUIRES a screening electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) for rising 9th grade athletes and recommends the screening for those entering grades 10-12. This is in addition to the normal sports physical. High Schools are already holding clinics to fulfill this requirement. Keep an eye on your district's website and pages for announcements about dates and times.

🤧 Stuffy noses, sneezes, sinus pressure, coughing in the morning and evening with no fever and mostly normal energy level and appetite? It’s probably a seasonal allergy— nasal saline rinses, antihistamines like Claritin, Zyrtec, or Allegra and nasal sprays like Flonase can make a big difference when taken consistently during allergy season. Of course if things aren’t improving or you have other concerns, contact your healthcare provider for guidance.

HEADS UP! 🤧 Pollen levels continue to increase across Florida, with high and even very high levels. If you've been sniffling and sneezing recently, that's the reason why. Grab those tissues!
