We recently hosted a Lunch & Learn with Alex Hussain, co-founder and CEO of 3DChimera, who knows the 3D printing world and our studio very well.

Alex shared where the tech is headed. Less prototyping. More production. Open materials, smarter design, and better ROI when it's done right.

He brought solid examples. A gyroscopic football. PETG building parts used in Miami. And a 3D-printed model of Bigfoot’s foot made for a TV show. Yes, really.

3DChimera supports all of it. They sell, train, and consult on industrial 3D printing, scanning, and design. It was great to hear from someone who’s seen both sides of the process. Design and production. And someone who once worked right here at ROBRADY.

ROBRADY and Sarasota Growth Ventures recently visited Sarasota Memorial Hospital for an IRB meeting focused on testing and regulatory planning for the ACT wearable.

The review helped align the path forward for validation and clinical use. We appreciate the collaboration from the SMH team as we continue refining ACT for impact in the field.
