A gorgeous synchronous time of purification, reflection, spiritual, cultural connection and rebirth!

Not to mention two days ago (February 15) was the Maha Shivratri, the Great Night of Shiva - an observance on the themes of devotion, purification, destruction and renewal. A reminder of how perseverance and faith can save the world.
I thank my beautiful Hindu sisters for teaching me about this most auspicious festival.

Our ancestors may not have had the "distractions" of constant digital connection and media at their fingertips, but life could be overwhelming, chaotic and a bit uncertain in its own way.

Below are some deeply simple tips that belong to all of our ancestors, that can help invite grounding and presence into the moment.

And just as stress and trauma is cumulative, simple grounding practices also add up and can help build resilience and capacity for the very legitimate dysregulation, anger and grief we are all facing right now. ❤️🌹
