Save the Date – and Help Us Build the Raffle!

We’re getting ready for the Benefit for Dawn on Sunday, September 21. Right now, we’re collecting raffle items, gift cards, and donated items help raise funds for our dear friend and caregiver, Dawn Miller, as she prepares for her medical journey.

Whether it’s feathers or fur, our Memory Care residents loved spending time with some special visitors—a colorful parrot and a pair of adorable chinchillas. Everyone had fun learning about them, and those who wanted to got the chance to hold and pet them. It was a wonderful visit that brought lots of smiles.

Our Moreau residents had a great time visiting the Chapman Museum in Glens Falls. We wandered through exhibits filled with local history and so many fascinating treasures, from an Olympic volunteer uniform from the 1980 games, to a Red Wings pennant from the 1988–89 season, and even historic clothing like a leather bomber jacket and Japanese wooden shoes.

The interactive displays were a hit, especially trying to identify all the unique historic items. The Glens Falls miniature with the old railroad route and the vintage switchboard brought back lots of memories and sparked plenty of conversation.

A big thank you to the Chapman Museum for such a warm welcome and a wonderful day of exploring!

We had such a fun morning at our Saratoga residence with the Escape Room infection control training. Everyone really got into it and worked hard to beat the clock!

A special congratulations to our winning team — Allyssa Baker, Emily O’Neil, Stephanie Feliciano, Holly Winslow, Brittany Clark, and Mary Ellen Campbell (not pictured). Great teamwork all around, and thanks to everyone who joined in and made it such an enjoyable training.

A big thank-you as well to Christina Audi and the New York State Health Facilities Association for leading such a creative and engaging session.

A heartfelt thank you to Carrie Woerner, Senator Jim Tedisco, Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, Empire Exhibits & Displays, Dairy Haus Hard & Soft Homemade Ice Cream - Since 1985, and everyone who helped bring the Memory Care Diner to life.

We’re also incredibly grateful to our amazing staff including Denise, Michelle, Kristen, Aaliyah, Megan, and our talented culinary team including Danielle and Kelly. None of this would be possible without their vision, dedication, and heart.

We’re proud to serve our residents and families, and to create spaces like the new Memory Care Diner that spark joy, encourage reminiscing, and foster meaningful connection.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated this special moment with us!

Our Saratoga residents couldn’t have asked for better weather for a recent visit to Saratoga State Park. We enjoyed watching kids splash and play in the creek, seeing people out walking their dogs, and even got to meet a friendly puppy who stopped for some pets.

We were also treated to a special sight—a hummingbird visiting one of the park’s feeders. It was a lovely afternoon to be outside, enjoy nature, and spend time together.

From Classmates to Neighbors – 74 Years Later

Ellie and Margaret graduated together from St. Mary’s in Glens Falls, Class of 1950. Over the years, they only crossed paths once, by chance, at a Kmart.

That changed when Margaret moved into our Moreau community recently. On her first day, she turned a corner and recognized Ellie coming down the hall. Now, the two old friends spend time together every day.

Margaret even brought their senior yearbook, the one she edited in 1950, the first published by the school after WWII. It’s been wonderful to see them reminiscing, reconnecting, and making new memories together here.

Our Moreau residents took a trip up to Lake George to visit Fort William Henry! It was a great day to explore the historic grounds and learn a little local history. The staff at the fort were incredibly welcoming and took the time to show us around and make the visit extra special.

We're proud to support our friends at the Regional YMCA and their Togetherhood Committee in their School Supply Drive for Corinth Central School District !

Collection boxes and baskets are now set up at all five of our communities, please feel free to drop off donations and help local students and teachers start the school year off strong.

A group of Saratoga Memory Care residents took a trip to Waterfront Park on Saratoga Lake and had a great time soaking in the sunshine, beautiful view and refreshing breeze off the water. It was a relaxing afternoon for a walk, sit by the lake, and enjoy being outside together.

Our Saratoga Memory Care community held a backyard barbecue and picnic last week, and it was such a special day. Families gathered to enjoy good food, good company, and the sunshine—while the kids had a blast running around the courtyard and playing together.

There were smiles all around, and it was a beautiful reminder of how much joy comes from simply being together.

A special thank you to Megan, our Memory Care Activities Director, and to all of the staff who helped make the afternoon so wonderful.
