PBJ & Friends is committed to providing stellar behavioral health services to children with autism. Hi, we are the Juber Family!

We are so delighted to embark on this journey with you. The services that we provide at PBJ & Friends are dear to our heart and became an inspiration to our family when our son, Tyson, was born. At birth, Tyson was diagnosed with Hemimegalencephaly. After hundreds of seizures, he had two brain surgeries and a shunt placed due to hydrocephalus. At the age of 8, Tyson was also diagnosed with Autism.

During that time, we were introduced to applied behavior analysis (ABA), which would change our world. Tyson is now 16 years old and the light of our lives. Tyson has acquired social and communication skills over these past years by learning and practicing skills in social contexts with peers and technicians, who have been his greatest cheerleaders! His new level of skills has allowed our family to experience more freedom in new ways and places, far surpassing our thoughts of what was possible. We can now go out to eat as a family (and have fun!), go to amazing places like Disney World (which was a dream come true for Tyson), and watch as Tyson enjoys being autonomous and making his own decisions, and even being in charge of the TV remote all by himself. These are small pleasures that mean the world to our son and our family. The inspiration for opening PBJ & Friends came as a result of seeing a great need in our area for other families to access the same services that blessed our lives. And the inspiration for our name needs no introduction, as PBJ's are Tyson’s favorite sandwich and makes perfect sense why his friends would want to come here! We can’t wait to meet you...we are so excited to have your family grow with us!

Congratulations to PBJ’s first master level graduate who started with us and ended with us… and who is forever stuck with us! We can’t even put into words how proud we are of our Baylee girl. All those late nights (way too late), endless assignments (some being completely unfair and absolutely wild), and moments of “what did I get myself into?” have led to this incredible achievement— Masters Level Clinician! You only have one more step… BCBA exam… and then maybe if I can persuade you to get your PHD with me! 😉

Your heart, your grit, and your love for this field shine through everything you do. You didn’t just earn an extra diploma and fancy letters that will go after your name —you’ve proven that you’re exactly the kind of person this field needs: passionate, compassionate, and unstoppable.

The clients, the team, and every human lucky enough to work with you are better because of you. I’m better having been your mentor! I’ve learned so much from working beside you! Proudest mentor ever right here!! You killed it!!! Soak in this moment… you finally have free time!!! You’ve earned every bit of it.

When one of our PBJ OG’s moves north and has to leave us, our hearts break a little bit! Whitney has been an anchor in the lives of so many of PBJ’s humans… kiddos and staff! Words can’t come close to expressing how much she means to us and how much we love her! Monday felt a bit melancholy walking in, everyone had a little bit less pep in their step and a little more emotion we were feeling and expressing… which is such a true reflection of the beautiful human Whitney is and how much she has impacted the lives of all of us! Sometimes, big things like this make us all remember how truly grateful we are for each other and that we are all on this journey together! We will miss you everyday Whit, until our next adventure! 🫶✌🏻See you soon!

Happy Birthday to our beautiful Brylee! Our cheermeister, the one behind all of our social meadia postings and team spirit! The girl that can make you laugh harder than anyone you’ve ever met! The girl who has THEEE BEST laugh and smile! Her face says it all… you never have to wonder what she’s thinking! 🤣 She’s such an amazing RBT! She loves her babies (and teens), loves them hard… and they love her back so much! She is so much goodness wrapped up into one human and PBJ is a big part of what it is because she is part of it! Happy Birthday Bry! We love you!!!
