✨Do you have warts? Sometimes wart can be treated at home but most of the time warts are stubborn and need more aggressive treatments.
✨We have a few different ways we treat warts such as Liquid Nitrogen (which is shown in this picture). It is normally a 50% chance that the wart will go away with LN. We also use candida injections (yeast) that helps your body have an immune response in that specific area, therefore your body can fight off the wart virus and get rid of the wart.

So many of you have had questions about how we perform biopsies. Dr. Barlow advocates for sending any questionable moles to pathology for examination. In order to do so, we can not simply freeze off a mole. Freezing off the mole would destroy the specimen, making it impossible for pathology to determine whether the tissue is benign or cancerous.
Our approach involves administering lidocaine to numb the biopsy site, followed by carefully shaving off the surface of the lesion. This specimen is then preserved in a specimen jar and sent to pathology for thorough analysis. This method ensures a definitive assessment of whether the lesion poses a health concern to the patient or not.

Performing a biopsy on a mole takes less than a minute. If you have any questionable moles you are unsure about, stop on in for a 15 min skin check and if needed a quick biopsy. We are happy to give you reassurance with your moles and help you watch out for skin cancer.

What is Daxxify you ask? Daxxify is a neurotoxin similar to Botox. It is used to help reduce frown lines, wrinkles and aging. It temporarily weakens or paralyzes the muscles. It achieves this by blocking signals from the nerves to the muscles, preventing them from contracting for a period of time.
Typical effects last for about 3–4 months with Botox. Daxxify has proven to last up to 4–6 months. Meaning you would spend less money overtime and it will last longer. Daxxify also kicks in a bit quicker than normal Botox. Within the first two days, you will start to notice your muscles stiffen up and fewer appearance of lines.

It's just about SUMMER TIME! Which means we need to be aware of when we are out in the sun and how to best protect our skin from the sun.

We want you to pull out all your wide-rim hats this summer and put them to good use! Try your very best to avoid being in the sun while the UV Index is at its highest. Usually, between 10am and 2pm is when the UV Index is at its highest. If you happen to have activities outside during those hours, you can wear certain things to help prevent excessive sun exposure.

1. Wear sunscreen! 50 spf or higher for best coverage.

2. Wear rash guards or long sleeve shirts

3. Wear wide rim hats.
