BOOK CHAT

This wonderful activity sparks great conversations on literary works. A group of residents gather outside the library in Prestwick Chase to hear and share about their perspectives on the book being reviewed. There is always exchanges of ideas and concepts. Literally the stone sharpens stone analogy. We love that so many residents enjoy spending time together, from all kinds of walks and back rounds in life. This particular activity empowers a diversity of thoughts and reflections. We thank the ladies for pausing their discussion, to allow a quick photo. We applaud their desire to always keep learning and to simply enjoy a deep discussion.

Spring has officially arrived, and our residents are excited to get out and enjoy everything the local area has to offer.

At Prestwick Chase, we’re proud to be part of the Saratoga Springs community. While many people are busy with spring cleaning, our residents are simply enjoying the season. We take care of the yard work and landscaping—so you can spend more time relaxing outdoors, breathing in the fresh air, and taking in everything our beautiful community has to offer.

Monthly housekeeping is included in your rent, and convenient storage options are available for anything you’d like tucked away outside your apartment.

Spring is also the perfect time for a personal refresh. Our on-site unisex hair salon is open Monday through Friday—why not try a new look for the season?

EASTER AT PRESTWICK CHASE

Residents came down to the Commodore Restaurant for Easter Dinner. The Chef's prepared a lovely menu with cuisines like Oscar Baked Ham, Lamb Chops and Salmon en Croute to name a few. There were fresh flowers, decorations and even the staff showing off their bunny ears to get a chuckle out of the residents.

Having the families come in with their loved ones for dinner, is always such a fun filled blessing at Prestwick Chase. The staff enjoys the interaction so much. A special thank you to the Chef's and staff for all their hard work and for making the day such a relaxing fun filled event.

MAPLE OPEN HOUSE

Residents of Prestwick Chase attended a Maple Open House in Corinth, NY. Maple Valley Farms gave a fantastic tour on how they harvest and produce the maple syrup flavors. Residents even had the enjoyment of sampling maple shots. It was interesting to learn about the process and the creation of variant assorted flavors. Residents also after the tour sat down and purchased a plate of pancakes which simply were delicious.

Thank you to the Maple Valley Farm staff for such a lovely time and for all the educational information. Our residents loved it!!
We will be back again.

This , we’re celebrating three amazing residents who help make Prestwick Chase such a special place—Joan, Dottie, and Mary. Together, they’ve spent nearly a decade as part of our community, building friendships, sharing stories, and making every day brighter.

Did you know many of our residents come from out of state? Some move closer to family, while others simply discover the warm, welcoming lifestyle waiting for them here.

PATRIOT MAIL CALL

Prestwick Chase residents participated in a wonderful tradition known as "Mail Call". When soldiers were far from home in distant theaters of conflict, receiving mail from friends and family meant the world to them. It helped them deal with the hard stresses of combat or long deployments.

Veterans will soon be traveling to Washington, D.C. on Patriot Flights to visit their War Memorials. Residents of Prestwick are writing thank you notes, honoring the veterans and letting them know they pray for them, wish them well and are thinking of them.

Each veteran will receive a large envelope full of these heart felt messages. Seeing the faces of these men and women being honored, opening their own mail call, is truly a beloved moment on their patriot flight.

Thank you to all our veterans at Prestwick Chase and our community of residents for taking the time to remember what these men and women have done for their country. The price of freedom is very high. All gave some and some gave all, so that we all could enjoy the freedom. We will never forget you.

🌷 Happy !

IRISH PERFORMANCE

Residents were treated to an Irish recital in Congress Hall. The dancers of different ages, danced to traditional songs to mark the celebration of St. Patrick's Day. It was so much fun to see the unison movements that the dancers had clearly worked hard on. Our residents loved their show and the interaction with them after it was over.
