What a gift to be able to do what I love. As a little girl I talked about doing this and to be living it now as a grown woman feels like a ridiculous blessing. Pinch me! To my clients who allow me to tend to them - thank you thank you thank you. It's important to celebrate small wins, big wins and everything in between. ✨✨✨

The annual cottonwood bud gathering has commenced.
These buds will be stripped from the branches, placed into a beautiful golden jojoba oil and gently warmed for a few days all whilst releasing a delicious honeyed vanilla kind of scent into my home.
-
Why? In order to be added into my massage oil blends, enhancing them with both their scent and their healing properties which include pain relief in muscles and joints. That beautiful drop of orange resin in the final photo, also called 'The Balm of Gilead', contains salacin which is anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antiseptic and more... I love collaborating with nature so much.

With SNAP benefits set to expire on the 1st, it feels necessary to get this going a bit sooner...

Over the past few Novembers, I have had a little food drive over taking donations of non-perishable goods, pet food and household items for the food pantry and free store.

If you are in a position to be able to get some extra items when you're out grocery shopping please consider doing so and bringing with you to your next appointment. If you feel called to and are able, please consider visiting their website to find other ways you are able to donate and/or help. They also take things like mittens, gloves, hats and more ( for adults and children).

Let's work together to gather even more than we did last year. We are always stronger together. 💗
