Thank you, Assemblyman Scott Bendett, for taking the time to recognize Nurse Practitioners Week with our CNO. We are so grateful for your commitment to strengthening healthcare for our patients, providers, and communities.

It was my honor to recognize Nurse Practitioner Week with a New York State Assembly Proclamation.

Nurse Practitioners play a vital role in expanding health care access across our communities and improving health outcomes for all. Patients across the United States depend on the more than 431,000 licensed Nurse Practitioners who diagnose, manage, and treat both chronic and acute health conditions every day.

On a personal note, my wife worked as a nurse at St. Peter’s for 30 years, and I am deeply grateful to all of our nursing professionals for their dedication and compassion in caring for our community.

Jack from my team presented the proclamation to Matt Hickling, a certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Delmar who has been a tremendous advocate for empowering nurses and health care professionals at Davin Healthcare.
