Greetings from Brandtville. As spring arrives and people observe holidays this week, I'd like to make mention of National Poetry Month and Jazz Appreciation.

Maybe you'd like a new read to satisfy your literary need. I've released Soul Surthrival Guide: Poems For Life. This new body of work includes the lyrics from some of my Jazzage Brown Girl Blue collection of original songs along with the watercolors I created during my Artist-in-Residence time in Spain.

I was blessed to enjoy the June 2009 guest month in residence with Fundación Valparaíso in Mojácar Pueblo southern Spain. While there, I was moved in such a profoundly visual way, that I passed on the musical composition and began painting. The book back cover is a 'blue door/la puerta azul' watercolor I created based on the door of an inviting home I would see and pass by each day while walking to the beach. As November arrives, please be advised that Jazzage Massage Therapy ~ A Wellness Studio is now closed at The Business Hub location - 63 Putnam Street in downtown Saratoga Springs, NY. My gratitude remains to everyone who has supported me with getting the space prepared and honored appointments with Jazzage Massage Therapy over the years. This year continues to bring fruit. In addition to renewing my New York State Massage Therapy License, I completed all required professional development including coursework in Myofascial Release for the Head, Neck & Jaw as well as Foot Reflexology. Attending the Body World Exhibit @ Philadelphia's Franklin Institute was a fascinating bonus and welcome opportunity for professional growth. I remain a fully insured member in good standing with the AMTA, (American Massage Therapy Association). My on-site table services with local hospitality establishments are available to book now for into next year. In 2026, I will consider on-site appointments during the Chowder Festival, Belmont Festival and racing dark days during the regular thoroughbred racing season. This week is National Massage Therapy Awareness Week. As a member in good standing with the American Massage Therapy Association, (AMTA) I appreciate my membership and the privilege of maintaining my professional insurance with the leading Massage Therapy association. Membership with AMTA includes continuing education options, some discounts with partner vendors, professional support and career growth. AMTA, thank you for being here for us!

This September, my gratitude remains for the invitation to share on set with Superb Saxophonist Ron Smith during his residency at Northampton's Gombo Nola Kitchen & Oyster Bar! Grateful for accessible, ongoing professional development and traveling mercies. Thankfully I saw the last day of the Body Worlds exhibit. The City of Brotherly Love has once again allowed me to more greatly appreciate the ‘fearfully and wonderfully made’ part. The Body Worlds exhibit at Franklin Institute was soooo much more than I could ever imagine…AMAAAZING!!!
