"Butterball" AKA "Butter" going on 14 weeks has finished her second part of her 3.1 walk for Spring Scurry going for her FIT DOG Bronze. She has also had two classes towards her Star Puppy Title. Her dad "Keeper" is now taking private lessons and she is joining her daddy 🎉🥰. "Keeper" is so friendly that he has a hard time keeping all four feet on the ground when her approaches someone. So, confirmation showing is on hold, but he does get the compliments that he is so handsome. The problem is he knows it.

"Keeper" has finished his "Spring Scurry" walk for 2026, along with his "Turkey Trot" walk for 2025 and one club walk almost gives him his Fit Dog Silver. We need one more Fit Dog Club Walk for the title. His pending BCAT title will be used for this Gold. We wanted to start his Junior Hunt Test, but found out before his first test he pulled something in his leg after the last BCAT run. The grass was very bumpy 😖. So, we had to lay low till it healed. Then we found out more Hunt Tests were Canceled, so it seems we will have to wait till fall for that title.🥴

Friday 2/27 and Saturday 2/28 were FastCat days for 4 fur paw kids from PVR: "Keeper", "Mustang", and 2 Seniors "Ayra" 11 years 6 months and "Pilot" 12 years 2 months. I am happy to say we have 2 new FastCat Tiles to celebrate 🥳🎉

Well, it was a "snow day" for "Winnie" and Melissa in Utah. Here Melissa and Winnie are running Canicross in the snow. I think it was Winnie's first time in the snow. Melissa is now thinking that maybe they can do cross country skiing together. what fun that would be for both👏🎉

Well, "Mustang’s” first cousin "Winnie" did her dedicated run at "Mustang Pass" she and her mom Melissa found on their trip to Utah. Then they did another run a couple of days later and things looked a little different. This cold atmospheric pressure has hit other states too!
Mustang thanks Winnie for the dedicated run even in the cold. I 'm sure when she returned to the car there were blankets and a heater on for Winnie..😁👏

Last weekend the Santa Clara Dog Training Club was able to slip in a Fit Dog Walk before the storm came in. Two of my dogs were able to make the walk, both are working on their Silver Titles.

Three of the Thanksgiving litter pups have left the Ranch. I could not be happier with the families that have adopted these cuties. I am so proud of the pups they are growing up to be. The last little girl was spoken for 3 weeks ago and that is "Sage", her new family will be picking her up at the end of the month to be a hunting companion. Then of course my selection happens to be the "Demon Child" AKA as "Butterball" alias "Butter", who starts her STAR Puppy class on 2/24/26👏🐕.

I wanted to wish a Belated Happy 4th Birthday to the Mischief Litter born 2/1/22. Two of these pups have been on facebook many times. One in particular is "Riot", he has been enjoying life hunting with his dad Patrick Paulin at Hastings Island and playing at the beach in the waves with his sister Canela.
His sister "Reign" has been busy with her first litter born 8/12/25, plus getting get OFA results on her hips and elbows. I can't wait to see what "2026" will bring for these two and the rest of the "Mischief Litter.

This past weekend at the San Mateo Dog Training Club, in Belmont "Schuyler" was able to add a few more qualifying ribbons to her ribbon wall. I was very excited that it was her first try at Novice Exterior and she was able to pull it off. She also went on to add to her passes in Buried Container acing #6 pass towards her elite Title.
The other tests, Container and Interior, were a little more challenging. Both were on very smooth surfaces of hardwood and vinyl both too slippery for her and causing some anxiety in those searches. I may have to put boots on her for those slippery searches. Overall I was happy with the two qualifications she obtained.

update: Reagen says Happy News Years🎉 and she likes the way the New Year started. 1/1 we were back at Monterey Bay area Scent club trial in Monterey for Advance searches. Well, she is happy to say that she has now earned her new Title "Scent Work Advance", she needed one more pass in Exterior, which she got. She also Qualified in Advance Buried and Advance interior towards her Advance Elite Title. Big congrats to this 15 year old wonder🎉👏😁

12/31 at the Monterey Bay Area Scent Work Club, in Monterey, 15 year old "Reagen" does it again. She took 3rd in Exterior Novice Elite to make that #11 pass and took 2nd in Novice Handle discrimination for her 4th pass towards her Elite title. Tomorrow is another day for her in the Advance.....if she can pull off her third pass in Exterior she could have a new title again. I am still so amazed at this Senior Citizen.
