6 weeks post-op and already loving her refreshed look!

This stunning patient came to see Dr. Elbert Cheng with concerns about upper eyelid hooding and signs of aging around the eyes. Over time, the brow can gradually descend while excess skin develops on the upper eyelids. When this happens together, it can make the eyes appear tired, heavy, or less defined.

To address both concerns, Dr. Cheng performed a temporal brow lift combined with an upper blepharoplasty.

A temporal brow lift focuses on elevating the outer portion of the brow (the tail of the brow). By lifting this area, it helps restore a more youthful brow position and gently opens the outer eye area without creating an over-arched or surprised look.

An upper blepharoplasty removes carefully measured excess skin from the upper eyelids. This smooths the eyelid contour and reduces hooding, allowing the natural shape of the eyes to be seen again.

When performed together, these procedures work synergistically:
• The brow lift restores the brow to a more youthful position
• The blepharoplasty refines the eyelid by removing excess skin
• Together they create a balanced, naturally open eye rather than an overdone appearance

Dr. Elbert Cheng performed a Deep Plane Facelift, Necklift, conservative buccal fat removal, and fat transfer to restore youthful structure while preserving her natural beauty.

In some patients, enlarged or low-positioned submandibular glands can contribute to fullness beneath the jawline. When indicated, submandibular gland excision can further enhance neck definition by addressing deeper structural fullness that lifting alone cannot correct.
