👁️ Patient Concerns: This patient came in with drooping of the left upper eyelid (ptosis) due to remote trauma to the eyelid, causing both asymmetry and obstruction of her vision.

✂️ What We Did: A left upper lid ptosis repair was performed to lift the eyelid, restore balance between both eyes, and improve the patient’s field of vision.

📸 Results: At 3 MONTHS POST-OP, you can see the eyelids are now more symmetric, the eyes appear brighter, and the overall look is natural and refreshed

👁️ Patient Concern: Drooping upper lids causing a heavy, tired appearance
✂️ What We Did: We performed Bilateral Sub-Brow Blepharoplasty to lift and rejuvenate the eyelids. Given the patient’s thicker upper eyelid skin—a common trait in many Asian and Latina patients—this approach was ideal. Traditional upper blepharoplasty would have left the heavier skin behind, but the sub-brow method targets and removes it for a more effective result.
📸 Results — 1 Week Post-Op: The eyes already look brighter and more open! The heaviness has lifted, revealing the patient’s natural eye shape. Incisions are still in the early healing phase and will continue to soften and fade with time.

✨ A subtle change that makes a powerful impact.

👁️ Patient Concerns: A noticeable crusty lesion on the left lower eyelid, that was biopsied-proven squamous cell carcinoma, an invasive type of skin cancer.

✅ What We Did: We completely excised the carcinoma and achieved clear margin, while preserving eyelid function and appearance with a skin flap—all in surgery.

📸 Results (1 Month Post-Op): The skin flap healed beautifully and maintained the eyelid contour.

👁️ Patient Concerns: Constant irritation, redness, and discomfort from the left lower eyelid turning inward. This is called entropion. Most common cause of entropion is laxity in the eyelid, causing instability of the eyelid. The other cause is thinning and/or detachment of the muscles responsible for opening and keeping the eyelid down, allowing the eyelid to roll up and inward.

✅ What We Did: We repaired the entropion by tightening the lower eyelid laxity via lateral canthopexy and placing sutures under the lashes to reattach the retractor muscles and rotate the lashes forward.

📸 Results: 1 month post op and patient looks more symmetrical and bright, comfortable eyes with improved lid position and restored function. 👁️✨

🔎 Patient Concerns: Long-standing gradually worsening drooping of both upper eyelids, impacting his daily life — making it difficult to drive, cook, and work at the computer. The patient had to tilt his head up to see and even taped the eyelids up to read.

✅ What We Did: Bilateral upper lid ptosis repair to tighten the levator muscles and, in turn, elevate the eyelids.

📸 Results: 2 months post-op — eyelids are well elevated, symmetrical, and no longer obstructing vision. The patient reports significant resuming his daily activities safely and with confidence. Overall, his quality of life improved 100%

👁️Patient concerns: Patient presented bilateral upper and lower eyelid droopiness. The upper eyelids caused peripheral vision obstruction, while the lower eyelids caused redness, irritation and tearing.

✨ What we did: We performed bilateral upper ptosis repair and blepharoplasty to tighten the levator muscles and open the eyes wider and to remove excess skin folds, respectively. We also performed bilateral lower eyelid retraction repair via lateral canthoplasty, SOOF suspension, and Enduragen implant placement to tighten the stretched tarsal ligaments, lift the cheeks, and hold the eyelids up, respectively.

🔎Results: 6 weeks post op and patient thought surgery was a success. He looked more engaging and felt comfortable—he was finally free of eye irritation and tearing.🤓
