👁️Patient concerns: Patient presented bilateral upper and lower eyelid droopiness. The upper eyelids caused peripheral vision obstruction, while the lower eyelids caused redness, irritation and tearing.
✨ What we did: We performed bilateral upper ptosis repair and blepharoplasty to tighten the levator muscles and open the eyes wider and to remove excess skin folds, respectively. We also performed bilateral lower eyelid retraction repair via lateral canthoplasty, SOOF suspension, and Enduragen implant placement to tighten the stretched tarsal ligaments, lift the cheeks, and hold the eyelids up, respectively.
🔎Results: 6 weeks post op and patient thought surgery was a success. He looked more engaging and felt comfortable—he was finally free of eye irritation and tearing.🤓
