A sneak peak of our new ambulance! This unit was nearly 100% funded by 3 grants. The USDA funded 55% of the cost, The Wyoming Community Foundation funded $30,000 with support from the Wyoming Intertie Community Investment Program, and over $119,000 was funded by the Mineral Royalties Grant administered by SLIB. This ambulance features a state of the art emergency lighting, siren and control system by SoundOff Signal. This unit includes sync, link, and a low frequency siren as well. The ambulance also has dual attendant panels in the patient compartment so crew members can remain seated and restrained. The patient compartment lighting might look normal to the naked eye, but it’s actually a human save UV light to help with infection control! MS253 will also have a Stryker PowerPro2 stretcher and autoloader to reduce back strain and injuries.
This unit will be responding from our Hanna station. We can’t be more excited! It will be on display at Saratoga Days July 5th, stop by and help welcome this beautiful new equipment to the community.
